Oath Keepers, a national Second Amendment organization made up of many military veterans protected businesses in parts of Ferguson MO; at least until the St. Louis county Sheriff's Department asked them to leave.
From St. Louis today: FERGUSON • Following a night of arson fires and bashed storefronts that hit close to home, Greg Hildebrand stood naked Tuesday, drying off from a needed shower, when he noticed somebody on the rooftop.
“I opened the window and said, ‘Hey, can I help you?’” said Hildebrand, 35, a website developer.
The man said he was security and would be up there at night with others to protect the pocket of second-story apartments and lower-level storefronts near the Ferguson Police Department. A day earlier, rioters had broken out windows below Hildebrand’s apartment in the 100 block of South Florissant Road and torched a nearby beauty supply store.
“I am in the middle of a difficult spot,” Hildebrand said. “I feel a lot better having those guys up on the roof.” more

Raleigh, N.C. — The North Carolina chapter of the NAACP was among a number of local groups weighing in on Monday's grand jury decision not to indict a police officer in death of Michael Brown when the unarmed teen was fatally shot more than three months ago.

NAACP President Rev. William Barber said at a news conference Tuesday morning that the decision was an "indictment and a charge against a system that is not willing to fully address the racial and discriminatory flaws that exist." more

Billy Barber and the rest of his bunch need to be real careful just how they run their mouths about the whole Ferguson thing. If they want to march--fine. Protest is a big part of what has made America and helped to insure the Bill of Rights. Although the Tea Party just might have some peaceful surprises for them. If they want to riot, well, the rednecks just might have some BIG surprises for them. Be careful what you demand Billy. You just might get it back to you in spades.

An Open Letter

I agree with all of this 'open letter' except for the crack about Tea Party 'racists.' Tea Partiers are Libertarians and Constitutionalists--it's about everybody getting the same shot with their own hard work and aptitude--you know, the equality before the law thing. Dear Mr. President,
I find it curious that immigration was an issue of such pressing importance that it required immediate (and dare I say unprecedented?) action on your part, and yet so trivial that you couldn’t be bothered to address the nation. “Bad optics,” as they say in your biz. Still, I hope you enjoy your stay in Las Vegas this weekend — it’s lovely there this time of year.
One of those British newspapers I read online, you know the one with all the stories about busty celebrities barely wearing fancy clothes? Anyway, they were nice enough to publish a lot of what you said last night, and there was some good stuff in there. I really like that part where you told illegal… excuse me, undocumented migrants that “if you register, pass a criminal background check, and you’re willing to pay your fair share of taxes — you’ll be able to apply to stay in this country temporarily, without fear of deportation.” That sounds to me like smart policy, the kind of thing we could probably all agree on. Maybe it would have been smarter if you had saved it for your State of the Union address a few weeks from now, when you would have had the new Congress to work with, and everybody would have had the holiday vacation to settle down and cool off and stuff? more here

My people got tired of living under the despotic rule of petty dukes, princes and kings in Europe. They came to America to get away from tyrants--tyrants who taxed them heavily for their labors, forced them to serve in their armies, and forced them to literally 'bow and scrape' whenever the duke's carriage passed.

Now, in the 21st century, we have a 'home-grown' tyrant. Some would say that he is actually from Kenya and a secret muslim. I don't know where he is from and really could care less whether he is a secret muslim or a secret twinkie eater.  The color of his skin doesn't matter. Tyrants throughout the ages have come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. What matters to me is obama's behavior.

And over the last six years his behavior has become more and more unconstitutional, more and more despotic.
Last night's (Thursday November 20, 2014) speech announcing the particulars of his soon-to-be-signed executive order concerning immigration (look for the photo op on Friday at a Latino school in Harry Reid's personal fiefdom Nevada) can only push an already sharply divided country a little further down the road to what is seeming more and more an inevitable conflict of arms. Barry Sotero (obama's actual name), despite being a 'professor' of American constitutional law seems to not want to abide by it. If he survives the coming revolution and doesn't escape by warship--'fleeing to the waters' (something British royal governors did at the start of the First American Revolution) or by air then eventually he will be brought before the bar of justice to answer for his crimes.

When that day comes may God have mercy upon his soul.

 Last week, Nancy Pelosi stated that she did not even “know who [Jonathan Gruber] is.” In a matter of minutes, several outlets uncovered that Pelosi once referred to Gruber by name in a press release crafted by her office, and further, that she quoted “Jonathan Gruber of MIT’s analysis” in a 2009 interview.
