America’s Shrinking Navy Retreats from the Pacific

Happier days: George Washington arrives in Yokosuka in September, 2008, with sailors lined up in a Japanese message of greetings.
From weaponsman.com
"You won’t have seen this in the United States press, but the number of carrier task forces in East Asia is on its way to zero, as a result of pressures elsewhere and ongoing Navy cuts. We saw it in the Nikkei Asian Review." more

What happens when the Chinese, seeing that the U.S. is no longer willing to ante up to protect their trading partners in the eastern Pacific, becomes emboldened and takes matters into their own hands? Perhaps they start testing us with espionage and cyber attacks? Whoops, they've been doing that for some time now. Do you think at least some of the citizens of the Roman Empire circa 430 AD, seeing the legions pull back from the borders of the empire, felt the same sense of unease?
You and your neighbors can do something if you're willing.
1) Be prepared to survive the Interregnum
2) Be prepared to re-establish civilization
You are willing to do this for your children and grandchildren aren't you?
